Adult Basic Education
The Adult Basic Education Program is part of the Chelsea Adult Learning Partnership, which is funded and supported by the MA Department of Education. The program provides free access to undereducated and limited English proficient adults to highly effective adult education services.
Workforce Development
The Workforce Development Program offers professional workplace-based training packages and specialized education services to area businesses that employ Latino and immigrant workers. Services are cost-effective, culturally-competent, and tailored to your business needs and goals.
Community Learning Center
The Community Learning Center offers fee-based community education and training services, including English as a Second Language and Citizenship Preparation courses. Ideal for low-income working adults seeking affordable training opportunities to improve their skills and pursue advancement in their jobs and/or changes in their careers.
Computer Technology
The Computer Technology Program is also fee-based and offers twelve different courses ranging from Intro to Computers to Using Microsoft Office to Computer Repair, which are all available in a bilingual format. The program is run in our state-of-the-art community tech center and is licensed by the MA Dept. of Education.
JLSA After-School Program
The JLSA After-School Program helps Latino middle school youth to prepare for high school and beyond through academic enrichment, homework support and career exploration activities.
HIV/AIDS Counseling & Support
The HIV/AIDS Counseling & Support Program offers bilingual and culturally competent community health services primarily designed to increase the public’s knowledge about healthy lifestyles and reduce the rate of HIV infection in the community.
Citizenship & Immigration Services
The Citizenship and Immigration Services Program offers assistance with the preparation of immigration forms and applications at affordable rates. Immigrant families can consult with an Immigration Specialist and pursue their goal of maintaining, updating, and/or improving their status, such as seeking U.S. citizenship.
